HUSAR #8

In this issue of Husar we wrote about the Battle of Tarawa in 1943 that took place at the Tarawa Atoll in the Gilbert Islands and it was fought primarily between the Americans and the Japanese. We also wrote about the war in Vietnam, and Frederick William, Duke of Brunswick-Wolfenbüttel also known as “the Black Duke” who was a military officer who led a military unit “Black Brunswickers” in a fight against French domination in Germany.
